Eusider SpA is a big steel service centre specialized in automotive and home appliances sectors. The company was founded in 1979 by the two brothers Eufrasio and Antonio Anghileri with the collaboration of Angelo Carcianiga.
In the last decade, the fourth generation entered the company, with Eufrasio’s children, Giacomino and Maria Anghileri.
Today Eusider SpA – 100% owned by the Anghileri family – controls 8 companies, 7 in Italy (Metaltubi Srl, Iron Service Srl, Lima Eusider Srl, Comal Ferlatta SpA, Bidue Eusider Srl, Eusider Inox Srl, Eusider Tinplate Srl) and 1 abroad (Eusider Morocco Srl).
Each company of the group specializes in particular products, transformations, sectors, in order to offer the customer a complete range of solutions designed in funtion of their needs.
Eusider has 7 plants, all located in the industrial areas of North Italy: Costa Masnaga (LC), Cesana Brianza (LC), Lecco, Misinto (MB), Bosisio Parini (LC), Crevalcore (BO) and Molteno (LC).
The plants occupy a total area of 90.000 square metres (covered).
Thanks to its technologies, Eusider SpA can offer a wide range of products. Every year, Eusider processes more than 310,000 tons of slitted material (slitter), more than 60,000 tons of flattened material and more than 160,000 tons of pickled material.
Moreover, Eusider produces more than 15,000 tons per year of heavy plates in its oxycutting, plasma cutting and sandblansting lines, and more than 15,000 tons per year of electrowelded pipes in its profiling line for welded tubes.
The 2000×3 slitter is equipped with a decoiler (32 tons), automatic reins for the introduction of the sheets into the cutting line, deep recovery holes for slitted material, a robotic system for coils cutting.
The 1650×8 slitter is equipped with a pyramid-shaped decoiler for bottom-up decoiling (anti coil-break), automatic reins for the introduction of the sheets into the cutting line, deep recovery holes for slitted material.
The slitters can process thicknesses of 0.3 mm to 8.00 mm, width of 200mm to 2,000 mm (according to thickness), with high speed cutting and can combine different types of cutting on the same coil.
The 2,000×6 flattening line is equipped with a pyramid-shaped decoiler (30 tons), a sixth-class flattening line with opposing cylinders of different diametre (maximum flatness and integrity of the surface), flying shearing line (maximum cutting precision with +/-1mm tolerances).
The 1,500×2 flattening line is equipped with a cantilevered decoiler (20 tons), sixth-class flattening line with opposing cylinders of different diametre (maximum flatness and integrity of the surface), feeder shearing line (maximum cutting precision with +/-0,5mm tolerances).
The flattening lines can process thicknesses of 0.40mm to 0.60mm, width ofn 400mm to 2,000mm, and lengths of 400mm to 6,000mm.
